There's not only lack of medicine and equipment but also the influstructure makes you sick its self.

We are working on building the first free Children and womens Hospital in Uganda.  We invite you to consider donating funds and medical equipment to help make this a reality. Your gift will bring smiles to many faces that have lost hope.

Objective: Our aim is to provide a way for those poor sick and ill children and mothers in need to experience hope and love through the gift of medicine.


Location: We have decided to locate the Hospital in Wakiso District where one of the founders of Abato Charitable Foundation has donated land for this purpose. This hospital will serve as a hub of medical outreach activity, Children's Hospital, Antenatal centre for Pregnant mothers, We shall have gynacologists for women issues, and this will also be the main centre for international volunteers who will give in their time and expertise to come and help the locals in health matters. 

Cost: The project will be developed in three phases. Estimated total cost of the hospital structure is $1,075,000

PHASE ONE: Estimated cost: $275,000

Part A. The Residence - Outreach Medical Center Estimated Cost: $82,407.87
We will build an Outreach Medical Center in response to calls for a base for our many volunteers who come to Africa and our African Medical Team who are engaged in Mobile Medical Outreach in many parts.

Part B. The first facility will be the outpatient department, which will include laboratory, X-ray, pharmacy, four consulting rooms, ten short-term stay beds, with administrative offices and conference rooms upstairs. Estimated cost: $142,592.13.

Part C. To procure a mobile clinic and ambulance to take medical services to villages. This will include treatment, referral of patients to the main hospital, vaccinations and preventative education. Estimated cost: $50,000

PHASE TWO: Estimated cost: $400,000

Expand the facility to include inpatient wards for women and children and this will accommodate fifty beds for children and twenty for the women.

PHASE THREE: Estimated cost: $400,000

To begin the surgical and obstetrical suite to allow full services to the communities. A sterilizing unit and room, along with incinerator and morgue. Housing will be built to accommodate full-time volunteers, visitors and on call personnel.
